Job Description

Job Title:  Accounting Clerk

Location:  Aberdeen, Idaho

Pleasant Valley Potato, Inc., a fresh pack potato company, is seeking a full-time accounting clerk.  This position requires a detailed, self-motivated person who works well in a team environment.  The preferred candidate will possess a basic understanding of bookkeeping, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Access will be a plus.

Duties:

  • Daily production and cost Accounting
  • Accounts payable
  • Assist with grower accounting
  • Data entry and document management
  • Assist with shipping and receipt of packaging and other deliveries
  • Assist with various human resources functions
  • Back up to Controller for ordering packaging supplies and other accounting functions
  • Some Saturday and evening work will be required with flexibility given during the week to compensate
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Basic understand of bookkeeping
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Access will be a plus

Position will report to the Controller
