Overview

Moves inventory from the warehouse locations and shipping line onto the sales floor and from warehouse locations to the shipping line. Keeps the store full and faced while maintaining accurate inventory control. Provide World-Class Customer Service to our customers through ensuring orders are processed within Melaleuca’s timeframe.  Provides customer service as necessary including assistance at the cash registers. Maintains a clean and safe work area at all times. Work as a team to maintain cleanliness and organization in the Warehouse and Distribution Center.              

Responsibilities

  • Work to maintain warehousing of products, inventory management, and product distribution for the facility.
  • Transfer inventory from the warehouse to store accurately and efficiently.
  • Restock the store shelves with inventory.
  • Interact with customer and store employees making sure all demands are met.
  • Responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of Warehouse/Distribution area.
  • Organizes and clean facility so that efficiency, proper storage, and FIFO are maintained.
  • Perform cycle counts and related processes appropriately for 100% completion each quarter.
  • Fulfilling customer orders on the Distribution Line, restocking inventory, supplies, invoicing, QA, and shipment of packages.
  • Ensures all packages are shipped in a timely manner and accurately.
  • Coordinates, conducts, and tracks trainings. Ensures that all personnel are properly trained and qualified to perform job functions, equipment operation, and that associates perform their duties accurately, safely, and efficiently.
  • Maintain shipping supplies within department (Boxes, tape, stretch film, invoices, labels, ribbons, bags, etc.)
  • Properly maintains vehicles (fork lift) and equipment.

  • Communicate (hearing & speech) with individuals in person and by phone in a tactful and courteous manner.
  • Visually read reports, computer screen, etc.
  • Visually read bottles, products, shelf tags in both shipping locations and store.
  • Good math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
  • Strong customer relation skills for conflict situations.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs.
  • Pulling, stretching, bending, and lifting for duration of shift.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Microsoft Office, Word and Excel knowledge.
