Overview

We have immediate openings for Full-Time 1st Shift Custodians. 1st Shift hours are 6:30 am – 3:00 pm Monday–Friday.

  • Starting Pay - $14.40/Hr. and Up DOE
  • Longevity Bonus (5 Yrs./$5000, 10 Yrs./$10,000, 15 Yrs./$15,000, etc.)
  • Company Profit Sharing (After 6 Mo of F/T Employment) – Quarterly Payments Based on Longevity, Pay Rate and Company Profitability
  • Performance Based Pay Reviews At 6 Months and 18 Months, then every 12 Months thereafter
  • Monthly voucher equal to $100/month value - $1,200/year towards free company products from our retail store including items such as soap, shampoo, laundry products, household cleaning products, and personal care products

Responsibilities

Our custodial team members are vital to providing high quality cleaning services for our operations facilities and the team members working in these facilities by ensuring our buildings are in “Tour Ready” condition at all times.

 

Essential functions of the position include:

  • Vacuuming carpeted floors and floor mats using an industrial vacuum
  • Sweeping, moping and dusting all areas of the building
  • Ensuring that all trash is removed from the building and deposited into the trash receptacle
  • Cleaning all restrooms by sweeping & mopping floors, disinfecting the restrooms, (i.e., wiping & washing urinals, toilets, sinks, stalls, walls, floors, mirrors, etc.) with disinfectant and stocking paper products and soap
  • Cleaning breakroom by sweeping floors, disinfecting the lunchroom: by wiping & washing tables, chairs, counters, floors, walls, windows, etc. Including cleaning inside refrigerators
  • Stocking breakroom with supplies (i.e., forks, knives, spoons, cups, coffee, etc.)
  • Cleaning windows inside of the facility
  • Cleaning offices including desks, chairs, carpet and chair mats
  • Cleaning and dusting the lobby area
  • Ensuring all refuse is removed from the grounds around the building by sweeping sidewalks, picking up trash, and emptying garbage cans and ash buckets

Qualifications

Successful candidates will be team players with previous cleaning / custodial experience preferred and experience with cleaning commercial buildings and/or industrial environments a plus.

  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to pull, stretch, bend, and lift regularly and consistently over duration of shift
  • Ability to stand or walk for duration of shift
  • Ability to climb stairs
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy
