Friends of the Children - Eastern Idaho

Friends of the Children is a prevention and early intervention organization that selects and invites children facing multiple systemic obstacles to be paired with a full-time, salaried, professional mentor called a Friend. Children are matched in kindergarten and supported through high school graduation — a commitment of 12+ years, no matter what. Friends spend at least four hours per week one-on-one with each child, building strong, trusting relationships in school, at home, and in the community.
