Blackfoot serves as the County Seat of Bingham County, has a population of approximately 12,500 citizens, and is home to a variety of industries and small businesses.
Located in the Snake River Valley of southeastern Idaho, the City of Blackfoot offers many attractions for residents as well as visitors!
Known as the ‘Potato Capital of the World’, it is also the home of the Eastern Idaho State Fair that hosts over 250,000 visitors each September. Within the City limits, the beautiful Jensen Grove has boating, a well-developed green belt, large children’s play area, disc golf course and more. Jensen Grove is located next to Blackfoot’s well maintained McCarley Airport.
