Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure smooth kitchen operations

• Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and disposal of ingredients
• Support catering events and special functions with timely meal preparation and service
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy service hours
• Follow all food industry safety protocols, including proper knife skills and sanitation procedures

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or culinary environment
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Experience working in fine dining settings or catering environments is highly desirable
• Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus
• Ability to plan menus and execute dishes that meet quality standards consistently
• Excellent food safety awareness and adherence to health regulations
• Effective communication skills for serving customers and collaborating with team members
