Arco Electric Idaho, Inc. is seeking skilled and motivated Lead Journeyman Electricians to join our team. The Lead Journeyman Electrician plays a key role in the field—leading crews, coordinating projects, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to code. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial and industrial projects
- Supervise and mentor electricians and apprentices in the field
- Plan, organize, and execute project tasks to meet deadlines and specifications
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, safety standards, and company expectations
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and develop effective, timely solutions
- Communicate clearly with customers, contractors, and internal team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Uphold Arco Electric’s standards of integrity, professionalism, and quality workmanship
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license
- Strong experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage field crews
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
