Job Summary
As a Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you’ll make multiple deliveries throughout the day within a set geographic area—no overnights or long hauls. You'll be a key part of our operation, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to local customers and businesses.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a CDL vehicle for local deliveries

Load and unload freight/products as needed

Maintain accurate delivery records and logs

Perform daily vehicle inspections and report issues

Provide excellent customer service during deliveries

Comply with all DOT and local traffic laws

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

Valid CDL Class A with Medical Card

T endorsement for those hauling doubles and triples (preferred) (must be obtained before hire), and appropriate endorsements for other specific designations

Clean driving record

1+ year of commercial driving experience preferred (local delivery a plus)

Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs on occasion

Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, lift overhead, work at heights, and walk/work in rough terrain

Strong time management and communication skills

Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and adhere to Driscoll Transportation, Inc and DOT drug testing policies.
