Overview

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of International Marketing or SVP of Global Innovation, the Director of International Marketing Innovation will support the development and guide the execution of global marketing portfolio strategies, maximizing product consistency and sourcing options across countries, while balancing market and regulatory needs for specific markets. Working with Brand Owners and in market teams to align on the brand positioning and value proposition and POD versus competitors in market.

Working with Melaleuca’s international market teams to drive growth and market penetration, by ensuring the integrated support of R&D. manufacturing, regulatory, supply chain, creative and manufacturing departments to bring the product to market and keep it in supply.

This role will partner closely with in-country leadership to align global brand strategy and messaging with the local market execution of pricing and promotions, bundles and adapting to any changes in regulations, competitor activity or supply chain or manufacturing issues. The Director will provide guidance to international teams, helping translate global frameworks into effective in-market programs while maintaining consistency across both emerging and established markets. This role will also lead a small headquarters-based marketing team and work closely with in-country marketing teams across APAC, ASEAN, and Europe.

  • Work with in-market teams to lead, manage and support international an local market brand and portfolio strategies and support product development, launches and ongoing availability of brands across international markets
  • Oversee and support the integration of departments to vet and support new product proposals and the commercialization of product introductions
  • Oversee global go to market execution, , and product launches
  • Ensure consistency of brand and product value propositions across all markets
  • Partner cross functionally to support product development, pricing, and commercialization efforts at launch and when changes are needed
  • Contribute to revenue growth and support international P&L performance
  • Lead and develop a small, high performing marketing team based at headquarters
  • Provide direction and alignment to in-country marketing teams across APAC, ASEAN, and Europe

Key expectations include:

  • Support the development and execution of international marketing strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives
  • Ensure global consistency of brand and product messaging across markets
  • Maintain global brand positioning and translate into locally relevant brand proposition and effective local execution.
  • Drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across international regions through a desirable and available product portfolio
  • Analyze product performance and optimize product offerings for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate cross functionally to support product innovation and lifecycle management, building basket size, attracting new, customers and limiting cannibalization.
  • Build and steward brand equity and strengthen product positioning across markets

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Partner with international leadership to align marketing plans with regional growth strategies
  • Support international expansion initiatives, including new market entry strategies
  • Participate in key international meetings and strategic planning sessions
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and cultural considerations across markets
  • Support the development and adoption of global brand and product messaging frameworks

Qualifications

The Director of International Marketing will be a strong and adaptable leader with a global mindset and the ability to operate effectively across cultures and geographies. This individual will bring a balance of strategic thinking and executional excellence, with the ability to translate strategy and value propositions into effective execution across markets.

  • Experience in international marketing within consumer packaged goods or direct selling environments preferred
  • Proven ability to scale brands across multiple international markets
  • Experience leading global or regional marketing initiatives
  • Strong cross functional leadership experience across product development, regulatory, sales, operations, and finance
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing team members
  • Ability to influence and lead across regions without direct authority
  • 8 or more years of progressive marketing leadership experience with international exposure

Professional Experience required:

  • Ability to relocate to Idaho Falls, ID (Relocation Assistance available)
  • At least 8+ years of marketing experience in consumer packaged goods or related industries
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across global teams
  • Proven experience managing and developing direct reports
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed
  • Willingness to work outside normal office hours to support different time zones
  • At least 3 years of experience in international or global marketing roles
  • Experience launching and scaling products across multiple international markets
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, eCommerce, and global consumer trends
  • Bachelor’s degree required
