Snake River Physical Therapy is an outpatient pelvic health and orthopedic clinic.   • Physical Therapist PT/DPT

    Qualifications:

    -Must be a licensed PT in the state of Idaho or be able to obtain a PT license in the state of Idaho before start date

    -Oncology experience preferred.

    -Pelvic Health experience preferred.

    Job Duties:

    -Performing initial evaluations and re-evaluations to determine and create an individual plan of care for patients, carrying out the plan of care and discharges.

    -Treating and progressing patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting and establishing treatments including frequency and duration for patients specific to their needs.

    -Direct and supervise PT aide and PTA in modalities and exercises as appropriate.

    -Documentation through EMR.

  • Physical Therapist Assistant

    Qualifications:

    -Licensed PTA - In the state of Idaho 

    -Woman's health experience preferred

    -Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting preferred

    Job Duties:

    -Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

    -Treat and progress patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting by administering manual exercises, instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, and applying other physical therapy modalities within a PTA scope of practice.

    -Contributes to a physical therapist's treatment by identifying patient care issues, performing physical exams, assessing patient progress by interviewing patients, reviewing the physical therapist's interpretations of patient evaluations and test results, and administering treatment programs for patients.

    -Documents patient care services by charting patient and department records through an EMR.

    -Assist in directing and supervising PT Aide in modalities and exercises as appropriate.

    -Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations, and policies.

    -Maintains legal accreditation compliance by adhering to policy positions concerning general, state, and local regulations, and JACHO standards.

    -Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading periodicals, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
