Job Description
We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Food Service Specialist to join our on-site Food Service team in Idaho Falls.

This position supports Melaleuca’s in-house café and food services by preparing fresh meals, assisting customers, and ensuring every guest enjoys a clean, welcoming, and well-stocked environment.
Overview
- Shift: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
- Starting pay of $12.90/hr.
- First Pay Review After 6 Months

Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service while taking and preparing food orders
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions with accuracy
- Prepare ingredients for the salad bar (wash, slice, and portion produce, meats, and other items)
- Monitor food quality and portion sizes
- Assist with daily kitchen operations, including dishwashing, cleaning, and restocking
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
- Follow all food safety and sanitation practices
- Perform other duties as needed to support the team
Qualifications
- A positive attitude and commitment to great service
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic math, reading, and communication skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the day
- Previous food service experience is a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right person!
