We’re seeking a Full-Time 1st Shift Production Team Member with light industrial experience including product packaging in a high volume manufacturing environment.

 

 

Starting Pay: $14.40/hour and up (depending on experience)

Performance Reviews: 6 months, 18 months, then annually

 

Schedule: (Full-time) Monday-Friday, 6:30AM - 3:00PM

Responsibilities

  • Complete personal reports by recording information (i.e., individual performance, batch sheets, cleaning logs, labeling, amounts, OTC product forms, component returns sheet to warehouse, etc.)
  • Support equipment changeover and setup processes as defined by the Machine Operator or Coordinator
  • Assist in machine tear down, cleaning and set-up, etc.
  • Set-up work area by retrieving production components (i.e., bottles, caps, pallets, products, rags, totes, etc.) and by sterilizing tables and equipment, code dating individual bottles, etc.
  • Use personnel protective equipment where required
  • Prepare pallets by filling totes, labeling totes with required information, loading pallets, moving pallets with pallet jacks to correct area, etc.
  • Lift finished product in totes onto pallets, table, or shelf
  • Perform clean-up duties by washing equipment, sweeping & mopping the floors, emptying the garbage, wiping down workstations with IPA and buckets, etc.
  • Inspect quality of own work for cleanliness, label placement, lids tight, correct batch numbers, etc.
  • Assist in training other associates as needed by demonstrating tasks, answering questions, etc.
  • Monitor quality by wiping excess product from containers, checking silk-screened labels, add a count to boxes, stacking pallets, and by verifying that labels are correctly placed
  • Take instruction from Machine Operator/Coordinator to assist where needed
  • Assist in Product Delivery Department when needed

Qualifications

Essential

  • Ability to work independently
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs. occasionally during work shift
  • Ability to operate mechanical equipment
  • Standing and walking for duration of 8-hour shift
  • Pulling, stretching, bending, and lifting for duration of shift
  • Visually read bottles, product, batch numbers, etc.
  • Manual dexterity for such duties as collating, sorting, filling, toting, etc.
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.)
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply)
  • Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy

 

Additional

  • Work overtime as needed
  • Ability to climb stairs
